Through the Smoke…
The 2021 NFL regular season has ended, which means that fantasy football “managers” all over the country are cursing players’ names and vowing next year will be different. All except Deshawn C of course. From draft day where he was projected to finish #1 to the championship game where he fulfilled that promise, Deshawn deftly guided Team Stoner through the ups and downs of one of the most unpredictable NFL seasons in recent memory. Injuries and Covid outbreaks couldn’t slow him down as he made the correct lineup calls week after week and bought and sold players at the right time to maximize Team Stoner’s potential, ending the season as the league’s highest-scoring team by a margin of over 130 points.
With two top ten QBs in Josh Allen and Dak Prescott (you’re welcome), Team Stoner ran through the LBHT Crew Fantasy League finishing with a record of 10-4 and locking up the #2 seed in the playoffs. The postseason proved no different as Deshawn took out the SC Kings in the first round and followed that up by slaying, not one but two Calebs (Kaleb) en route to claiming the inaugural LCFL Championship. His fellow managers had some strong words for the now reigning and defending champ:
“Congrats to Deshawn on winning his little FCS title, with my help by the way, but dynasty is where the pros play. We’ll see what he’s got next season” - Long Reach Hurricanes Manager Brodny

Didn’t matter if it was the beginning of the season or the end, still beat me three times swept me but if I just made one switch out in time I would have won the last one. Caleb

The other members were largely too bitter to comment. For his part, the champ took the high road. When asked to respond he had this to say: I greatly appreciate all of y’all mainly for being dope friends…And keep dreaming cuz the crown stays where it belongs😤
Congratulations again to Deshawn and Team Stoner, and thank you to everyone who participated in what was a fun and memorable first season. The competition will only get tougher from here on out as we transition to a dynasty league for the 2022 season.
