EA has finally broken their silence on the upcoming Madden 22. Last week they announced Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes would become the first two time cover athletes and revealed their marketing schedule leading up to the August 20th release:

After last year’s backlash to the virtually unchanged Madden 21, which saw #FixMaddenFranchise trending nationwide, EA has decided to lead with news of the revamped mode in hopes of regaining the trust of a community that has been largely ignored in favor of online gaming. Today they kicked off “Franchise week” with a deep dive into all the new features you can expect later this summer.
